Dear FBC Bullard Church Family,

In light of the ongoing winter weather impacts—including extreme cold, potential lingering ice, and hazardous travel conditions—we've made the decision to close the church office on Monday (January 26) and cancel all activities at the church for the day.

This includes:No Manley MondayNo Card MinistryNo Man Cave Bible StudyWe will continue closely monitoring conditions for Tuesday and will post any updates on fbcbullard.org as soon as decisions are made (also check emails or social media).

Even with the office closed, you can still reach us by calling the church phone number: 903-894-8999. We'll check messages regularly and get back to you as promptly as possible if you need assistance, prayer, or have any urgent needs.

Please stay safe—avoid unnecessary travel, bundle up against the very cold temperatures (forecasts show highs in the upper 20s/low 30s with wind chills much lower), check on neighbors and those who may need help with heat or supplies, and take precautions for any power or icy issues.

We're grateful for this church family and how we care for one another during challenging times. God is our refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1)—let's keep praying for quick warming, safety, and for one another.

We'll keep you posted on Tuesday and beyond. Feel free to reach out anytime.

Dear FBC Bullard Church Family,

With everyone's safety in mind amid the ongoing winter weather (freezing rain, sleet, ice, and dangerously cold temperatures creating hazardous conditions), we have decided to cancel our in-person Sunday morning worship service this weekend (January 25, 2026).

Instead, we will post a modified worship service online at 8:30 AM Sunday—you can watch it anytime that day or later on our church channels: YouTube: https://youtube.com/@fbcbullard?feature=shared Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/fbcbullard (or via the shared link: https://www.facebook.com/share/1FXp9QWjs6/?mibextid=wwXIfr)We appreciate your flexibility and look forward to joining together virtually to worship, even when we can't gather in person.

For Monday (January 26):
We will continue monitoring the weather closely (persistent extreme cold and potential lingering ice expected). The church office may remain closed depending on conditions and road safety, but you can still call the church office number (903-894-8999) if you need us—we'll check messages regularly and respond as soon as possible.

Latest updates (including any changes to Monday's office status or future plans):

Please stay safe this weekend—avoid travel if possible, prepare for very cold temps (teens/low 20s with wind chills), check on neighbors and those vulnerable to the cold, and take steps for potential power issues.

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We're praying for protection, quick recovery from this storm, and for our church family to stay connected and encouraged.

We'll "see" you online Sunday at 8:30 AM!

After much prayer, discussion, and close monitoring of the weather trends, we have made the difficult decision to postpone DNow this weekend (January 23-25).

The primary concern is Sunday's projected weather, which could create hazardous conditions—especially for transporting students back from the ranch and for our high school drivers heading home in their own vehicles. With the safety and well-being of our students, leaders, and families as our top priority, we believe postponing is the right step.

Tentative reschedule: We plan to hold DNow on February 14-15. If this date doesn't work for you or your student, please let me know—we'll issue a full refund right away.

If you have any questions, concerns, or need to discuss this further, feel free to call me directly:
Cell: 325-301-2059
Email: cb@fbcbullard.org

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility. We're grateful for your support and for the ways God works through our Nextgen ministry. Please continue praying for the safety of everyone in our community this weekend as we navigate this weather event.

We serve a faithful God who is with us in every season—let's keep trusting Him together.

Dear FBC Bullard Church Family,

We are closely monitoring the developing weather situation for this weekend (January 23–25). Current forecasts indicate the potential for cold temperatures, possible wintry mix (freezing rain/sleet), and hazardous travel conditions in East Texas, starting Friday and continuing through Sunday.

Your safety—and that of our students, leaders, and entire congregation—is our top priority. At this time, no decisions have been made to postpone or cancel DNow or Sunday morning worship, but we are praying for wisdom and will act quickly if conditions warrant changes.

Latest updates will be posted here
Please check the site regularly, as we'll share any news there first—also watch for emails, social media, or text alerts.

In the meantime, stay safe, check on one another (especially those who may need help with cold weather prep), and keep praying for clear guidance and protection over our community.

We serve a God who calms storms, and we're grateful to walk through this together as family. I'll communicate any updates as soon as they're available.
